About Me
My name is Daniel and I'm from the Mediterranean island of Malta. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by Software Engineering, which led me to graduate in Computing and IT from The Open University, a distance learning University based in the UK. As I gained more experience in the field, I discovered a passion for Engineering Management and grew to appreciate the immense value this role brings when done right.
Having worked B2B with several local software houses and B2C in the iGaming industry, I’ve developed a diverse skill set. My expertise ranges from data analysis, requirements gathering, and team management to system architecture and software development, covering both backend and frontend systems. Current and past positions provided me with an environment where I can to optimize and scale teams to meet the ever-growing expectations of the systems under my responsibility.
Although these positions have provided invaluable experience and allowed me to grow professionally, I am also eager to offer my expertise to individuals and businesses beyond my full-time occupation. Therefore, in addition to introducing myself and my skill set, this portfolio will serve as a showcase of my abilities through a list of past projects and blog posts.

I then took on the role of managing the Engineering team for their award-winning Affiliation Cloud platform, a sub-affiliate B2B system that has garnered industry acclaim.
